Helping Floridians Get Back on Their Feet
Florida’s federally-funded emergency rental assistance relief program to support residents and businesses as they continue to recover and rebuild.
After successfully distributing more than $1 billion for rental assistance, the OUR Florida Emergency Rental Assistance program will be closing soon as federal funds for the program have been allocated and distributed to eligible Floridians.
If you have started an online application, it must be submitted by May 12, 2022 at 10:00 pm EST to be considered. All in-person applications must be submitted to an OUR Florida location by May 12, and any applications submitted via mail must be postmarked by May 12 to be considered.
Once submitted, your application will be reviewed to verify eligibility. You will receive an email once eligibility is verified and your completed application is approved and processed. Funds will be disbursed in accordance with program policies and funding availability at the time of eligibility determination. Renters
Eligible Florida renters are entitled up to 15 months of rent and utility payments.
Utilities
All payments for utilities and home energy costs must be supported by a bill, or invoice in the name of the tenant reflecting the address for each qualifying utility for a period after April 1, 2020.
